Best Buy is offering a discounted controller when you buy Xbox Series X, bringing the new gamepad’s price down to $44.99 from the usual $59.99, and the console is currently in stock on the site – check now to see if that’s still the case.
You’ll be able to grab a discounted Xbox controller, so even if you don’t grab a console, you can get ready with cheaper accessories.

B&H Photo won’t be the first place many look when trying to buy Xbox Series X. While that does mean you’ve got a better chance at beating the crowds here, B&H Photo is likely to have less stock on the shelves compared to some of the bigger tech giants.

Walmart’s pre-order stock was snapped up in seconds earlier this year, which means you’re going to have to fight if you’re looking to buy Xbox Series X here. The retailer has said more stock will go live on during its Black Friday sale at 9:00 PM ET on Wed, Nov 25.

If you’re really struggling to buy Xbox Series X, there is another option. StockX is a marketplace retailer that allows sellers to post an asking price, buyers to post a buying price and an immediate transaction when both requests match. Prices are, obviously, a little higher here, but unlike eBay StockX ships all products to its warehouse for inspection before sending them on to you. We’d recommend waiting this first wave of stock out a little longer, but if you’re desperate there’s plenty of stock making it a reliable option today.

Currys hasn’t made its move in terms of Xbox Series X yet, however we have seen the cheaper Xbox Series S grace the shelves before dropping out over launch day. That’s means we’d stay tuned here, as there’s likely to be some consoles in that warehouse waiting for shipping.
Argos
Argos may not have a landing page for those looking to buy Xbox Series X just yet, but it’s certainly one of the best places to head to once that stock does land. That’s because the highstreet retailer organises its stock by region, which means you’re competing against a significantly smaller pool of shoppers. Nevertheless, that does mean that stock will run out faster as well.

Of course, these stock issues can only last so long – you’ll be able to buy Xbox Series X for a non-inflated scalper price relatively easily at some point in the future.
