There was some serious doubt we would see an NRL season play out this year after the pandemic brought it to a screeching halt. Yet here we are, heading into the second week of the qualifiers.
Four teams are ready to battle it out again on the road to Grand Final glory this weekend, with the first game between the Roosters and Raiders, which will be followed by the Bunnies taking on the Parramatta Eels.
The Roosters will be facing the Canberra Raiders at 7:50pm AEDT tonight. The Sydney side will be gunning for their third premiership title, but they’re coming off of back-to-back losses that will have shaken their confidence.
On Saturday, October 10, the Rabbitohs will clash with the Parramatta Eels at Bankwest Stadium. The Bunnies played Newcastle last weekend and, while the Knights looked threatening early in the game, the Rabbitohs soon took off with the ball, ending the match 46-20.
We’re also excited to see what Finals Week 3 brings us, after the Panthers from Penrith took home the win in a close game against the Roosters last week, securing them a spot in the preliminary finals.
The Melbourne Storm is also heading to the preliminary finals in week three after defeating the Parramatta Eels 36-24 last weekend, proving their experience in big games pays off.
